NEW KICKS FOR FOSTERS

It’s amazing the confidence you can feel when wearing a new pair of shoes on the first day of school! While it may seem superficial in the grand scheme of things, to a child wearing new shoes that “make you run really fast” and to a teen wearing new shoes that are trendy and what their friends are wearing is really important to them. Concerning fosters specifically, it promotes normalcy for them; it allows them to feel like they fit in when they already feel they are less than, lacking and/or shame about their home life.

If we can boost the confidence of A FOSTER CHILD and promote normalcy for THEM with a pair of new shoes, we are here for it AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO!

GET INVOLVED

There are a few ways to get involved in our New Kicks for Fosters Program. They are simple and will make a huge impact on the foster children receiving them as well as the families who serve them. Here is how you can get involved:

We have created extensive wishlists on Amazon, Walmart and Target with a variety of shoes, sizes and styles (we even had a handful of teens pitch in and help select trendy styles!) that you can shop from that will ship straight to our receiving locations to be processed and given out to local foster kiddos across Florida.
You can directly donate funding for us to be able to purchase specific shoes for fosters who request them.
You can shop on your own and drop them off at one of our drop off locations by Wednesday, July 24. Drop off locations are based on your location (one of our team members will meet with you)..
You can host a shoe drive at your work, church, gym, club or in your neighborhood - the possibilities are endless!

We are specifically asking for good quality shoes in toddler, children, preteen and teen sizes from 4 toddler to 10 adults (women) and 13 adults (men). If possible for the adult size shoes to be name brands, we know our teens would love and appreciate it since those things matter in teen years. We would also like to request shoes to be sneakers, sandals (not the inexpensive flip flops), boots, slides, etc. Thank you in advance for providing the BEST for our fosters who deserve the MOST.
